Thanks again for coming out and helping us set record attendance at our tenth anniversary! We had a great time hosting the event and look forward to seeing you all again next year. Storms wreak havoc on preparations for the B24. Tents were flying 30 feet through the air, slammed into cars and reduced to broken twigs of twisted metal. Fun times! The good news, weather looks more promising for Saturday and Sunday and the Ergon tent was not damaged in the storm! You’re welcome E.O.
Breaking news from the BURN 24 Hour Challenge. Cycletherapy in Lewisville, NC and Magic Cycles in Boone, NC want you to go fast – in the dark! They’re putting cash on the line for the fastest night lap. Mike B at Magic Cycles is offering $100 for fastest night lap turned by a lady. Mike C at Cycletherapy is offering up $100 for the fastest dude. Night laps begin at 9pm and end at 5am. No matter where you’re from, support your LBS because they support us.

Ride your bike, go fast and be active! That’s the message Brushy Mountain Bicycles is sending to the youngsters at the BURN 24 Hour Challenge. They’re offering $25 gift certificates to the fastest overall lap turned by any rider under 15 and to the youngest rider to turn a lap in the dark. Both boys and girls will be awarded for their efforts.
