Carey Lowery returns to the B24!

You heard it right.  Carey Lowery is returning to the site of her first 24 hour mountain bike race and she’s coming with a cause.  Not only does she want to crush the women’s solo field, she wants to raise some cash for a worthy cause while doing it.  After the cancellation of Big Bear, Carey set her sights on the BURN as a backdrop for her goal of raising $6,000 for City Park School and Ingleside Elementary in her hometown.  Instead of telling her story for her, you can read it here in her own words.  The BURN 24 Hour Challenge is pledging to help.  You should too!

    Thanks to all you cyclists and non-cyclists for helping me with this. I consider it of utmost importance. Our kids today are faced with diseases that we were not: diabletes, high blood pressure, heart disease, depression. I hope that I will be able to change the course of as many kids’ lives that I can through this fundraiser.
