Welcome to the 2010 BURN 24 Hour Challenge! May 29 & 30, 2010

Hello, Racers!

We’re back on Memorial Day Weekend 2010 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary as the Southeast’s biggest, baddest and longest-running 24 hour mountain bike race!

How are we celebrating?  For starters, we’ve got this nifty new website…looks similar to last year, but behind the scenes its completely revamped to make it easier for us to keep you updated via this cool thing called ‘blogging.’  We hear it’s become pretty popular, so now we’re ready to post fresh news about the event as it happens.

We’ve also started Tweeting, so if you’re a Twitter addict, follow us @burn24hour for updates and quick bits of news.  While you’re there, why not follow @bikerumor too?  They’re our presenting sponsor and the ones that helped us build this website and get things ready for the race!

    Hi,

    I’m participating in the burn24 hour challenge in a four man team. This is our first time and we did not know if we should reserve a nearby campsite or if we will be able to set up by the transition area. We’re driving up from Jacksonville, FL.

    Race site camping will be available Friday & Saturday nights. If you’re coming into town before then be sure to check out the Hampton Inn in Wilkesboro just a few miles from the trail. They are the official hotel sponsor of the B24. Racers get a special rate on race weekend. Let ‘em know you’re in town for the BURN!
